With nearly two decades of professional experience in bespoke and couture tailoring and millinery Vlasta understands her clients' needs perfectly. Her creations reflect this gifted designer’s eye for detail, years of experience with cutting garments to real women and knowing what cut is flattering for different body shapes.
Her signature pieces are timeless, elegant, sophisticated and luxurious styles inspired by past eras, mainly the 1930's and the beauty of simplicity. The pieces are created to enhance the features and personality of the wearer rather than overpower their character.
The designer (born and raised in the Slovak Republic) was always passionate about art, design and couture. She was trained from a young age in couture tailoring and millinery by her talented grandmother. Her millinery work has been influenced by a positive critique and direction from Marie O’Regan and training by Ian Bennet.
Vlasta's gowns, garments and hats have been worn by clients over the whole world. Her designs were featured in numerous magazines such as You and Your Wedding, Cosmopolitan Bride, The Brides, The Wedding, Wedding Ideas to name some as well as featured on television - ITV, Wedding TV and Slovakian STV1 and RTV. In past her hats have been exhibited in OC Concept Stores in New York and Saint Tropez.
